Quick Start: Your First Sweep¶
Sweep your wallet dust into ETH, USDC, WETH, or USDT in a few minutes. This page walks through one complete sweep from start to finish.
Before you start¶
- A wallet that supports Base (MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, OKX, Rabby, Trust, and most others).
- A small amount of ETH on Base for gas (a sweep usually costs only a few cents).
- For your very first sweep, start small — sweep a couple of low-value tokens to get familiar with the flow.
Step by step¶
- Open DustSweep. Go to https://app.dustswap.wtf/dustsweep. Always check the URL before connecting.

-
Connect your wallet. Pick your wallet in the connection dialog. DustSweep works on Base — it will prompt a network switch if needed. See Connecting Your Wallet.
-
Wait for the balance scan. DustSweep automatically finds every non-zero token balance in your wallet. You will see progress messages like "Finding Base balances…" and "Checking prices and sweep routes…". This usually takes a few seconds.

-
Select tokens to sweep. Tick the tokens you want to convert, use Select all, or enable auto-mode to select everything at or below a USD value you choose. You can sweep up to 50 tokens at once.
-
Choose your output token. ETH is the default; USDC, WETH, and USDT are also available. See Choosing an Output Token.
-
Review the quote. DustSweep shows the route for each token, the total estimated output, the 2% protocol fee, and an estimated gas cost. Quotes are valid for 30 minutes. See Understanding Your Quote.

- Press Sweep and confirm in your wallet. What you see next depends on your wallet:
- Batching wallets (e.g. Coinbase Wallet / Base Account, OKX): typically one confirmation for everything. Stepper:
Confirm batch → Done. - Most other wallets: a gas-free signature plus one transaction — and, the first time a token is involved, a short approval setup. Stepper:
Setup → Sign → Sweep → Done(orSign → Sweep → Doneif already set up).
See What the Wallet Prompts Mean before confirming anything you do not recognize.
- Done. A success screen shows what was swept, what you received, the fee, and a BaseScan link. Tokens whose swap failed are automatically refunded to your wallet in the same transaction. See After the Sweep.

User Safety Note Read every wallet prompt. DustSweep only requests exact-amount approvals and a signature that lists the exact tokens, amounts, and a 30-minute expiry. Reject any prompt that asks for an unlimited amount to an address you do not recognize.
FAQ¶
How long does a sweep take? The scan takes seconds; the transaction confirms at normal Base speed (typically a few seconds).
Some of my tokens are not selectable. Why? They may have no liquidity, no reliable price, a value below $0.01, or were flagged as suspicious. See Why Some Tokens Can't Be Swept.
Do I need to do anything if a token fails mid-sweep? No. Failed tokens are refunded automatically inside the same transaction.
