Streak Recovery¶
Missed a day? A recently broken streak doesn't have to mean starting over: DustSwap lets you restore your full streak — and its boost — for a small fee ($1, paid in ETH).
How it works¶
When you miss a full UTC day, your streak enters the broken state. Instead of silently resetting to zero, the app shows you both options:
- Restore — pay the $1 restore fee (charged in ETH at the current market rate) and your previous streak count and boost percentage come back exactly as they were. Then check in as normal to keep building.
- Start over — decline, check in normally, and the streak restarts from day 1 (+10%).
Why restoring is usually worth it¶
The boost compounds across everything you earn. Losing a 30-day streak means dropping from +300% to +10% — on an active day of sweeps and swaps, that difference is easily thousands of PP. One dollar to keep a mature streak is usually a clear win; for a 2–3 day streak, just start over.

Step by step¶
- Open your Profile — a broken streak shows the restore offer with your recoverable streak count.
- Press Restore streak.
- Confirm the small ETH transaction in your wallet (the app converts $1 to ETH at the live rate and shows the exact amount before you confirm).
- Once it confirms, your streak and boost are back. Check in for today if you haven't.
User Safety Note The restore fee is a normal, small ETH transfer initiated inside the app — about $1 at the displayed rate. It never requires a token approval or a signature beyond the payment transaction itself. Reject anything that asks for more.
The fine print¶
- Restore is offered for recently broken streaks (you missed yesterday). Once a break ages past the recovery window, the streak can no longer be restored. Exact window: it is shown in the app when applicable; to be confirmed before publication for the docs.
- The fee amount in ETH varies with the ETH price; the USD value is fixed at $1.
- Restoring brings back the streak count and boost — it does not retroactively re-award PP for the missed day's check-in.
FAQ¶
Can I restore a streak I broke last week? No — recovery targets a fresh break (missed yesterday). After the window passes, start a new streak.
What if the ETH price moves while I'm paying? The app quotes the ETH amount at payment time; small price movements between quote and confirmation may apply.
The restore transaction confirmed but my streak still shows broken. Refresh your profile. If it persists, the payment may not have matched the quoted window — contact support with your transaction hash.
